The Tangalle Muslim
Welfare Society does not receive any external funding and
relies predominately on donations and volunteers to maintain its services for
the wider community and ultimately in pleasing Allah (swt).
Allah says in the Qur’an: ‘O you who believe!
Spend from the good things which you have (legally) earned, and of that which
We have produced from the earth for you’ (2:267).
The Prophet (saw) said: ‘If anyone gives in
charity something equal to a date from his honestly earned money – for nothing
ascends to God except good – then God will take it in His Right (Hand) and
bring it up for its owner as anyone of you brings up a baby horse, until it
becomes like a mountain. Nothing ascends to God except good’ (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

The Tangalle Muslim
Welfare Society relies on the generosity of Muslims in
giving Sadaqah and donations to enable it to continue Da’wah activities and the
running of the Masjid. We ask Allah to give us success in this life and the
hereafter and enable us to continue doing good, and reward those who support
His noble religion.
The likeness of those who spend their wealth
in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven
ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to which
He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower
(2:261).
